World HeritageSnagov situates near Bucharest, it takes about 1 hour to get there. There is a beautiful lake and an island within the lake. It is famous for the Church that stands on the island, and legend has it that Dracula's headless body was buried there. You can only reach the church by hiring someone to roll you there by boat. Since we went in low season time, the transportation cost from Bucharest to Snagov and also the boat ride was rather expensive and the entrance fee to the church was practically determined by the care taker who, we suspect, was overcharging people and you need to pay an equivalent of 20 Euros to take pictures...
